The European Olympian, the annual Villa d’Este Concours event warmly welcomes the greatest and rarest classic automobiles making it a long-awaited must-see for any fan. Each year on the shoreline of Lake Como in northern Italy, the event hosts approximately 50 best of the best classic cars and concepts ever made paying homage to eight different decades of vigorous automotive history. Meet this year’ impressive Concours Top, the most elegant and outrageous event’s highlights there:

1. Exotic & Fancy, the $13M Rolls-Royce Sweptail made its world premiere here. The model was inspired by marquee cars of European “golden era” of the 20s and 30s. The highly bespoke coachbuilt Phantom Coupe with its flowing silhouette embodies in its design a client’s vision of classic racing yachts in a sleekly elegant form. The grandeur of this two-seater is highlighted with the branded Pantheon grille, hand-polished beautifully, along with a large panoramic single-piece glass roof. Rolls-Royce though follows a minimalistic design philosophy in terms of the interior adorned with tons of “open-pore Paldao and polished Macassar Ebony” inside.

2. Exclusive & Flamboyant, the Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato is one of those incredibly rare boutique cars for high society lineup. Only 19 units had been built. Being arguably one of the most fascinating and beautiful cars on the planet, this bespoke Zagato was exclusively ordered to feature beefier aluminum body panels, an elegant chrome trim and Plexiglas side window.

3. Stunning & Legendary, the Ghia L 6.4 is also a unique unit to gape at. Hard to portray in a shot, this coupe is absolutely one-of-a-kind example of exceptional craftsmanship – no wonder the Ghia L 6.4 won the Trofeo Julius Baer trophy this year. Only 26 cars were ever produced; this one was owned by “King of Cool”, known as Dean Martin, a Hollywood actor and a popular singer. Now Jack Braam-Ruben from Netherland owns this astounding 1962 car.

4. Best Concept Car – such a trophy the Renault TreZor Concept has been awarded. Debuted at the last year’ Paris Motor Show, this fantastic project is considered rather a piece of art than a concept car. The all-electric coupe is equipped with an engine derived from Formula E tech and packs 350 horsepower with peak torque of 380Nm getting 0-62mph time in under 4 seconds.

5. Ultimate Hit of the Event – meet the absolute this year’ winner, the 1957 Alfa Romeo Giulietta SS Prototipo proved exceptionally popular by public. Styled by glorious Bertone, it was designed by Franco Scaglione and presented at the car event by Giovanna Scaglione, the designer’s daughter. The marvelous RWD car with power of 100hp delivered by 1.3-liter inline 4 gained a win in Class G.
