Meet the 641-HP Urus, World’s Fastest SUV Ever!

This is the all-new, highly-anticipated king of the super-SUV segment, the Urus that has been finally made its world debut today. Known as the first SUV from the Italian performance automotive brand and aimed to double the company’s production, the Urus is claimed to be the fastest world’s super SUV featuring the outrageous dynamic abilities; over 640hp and 627 lb-ft of torque, to be precise, thanks to the first Lambo’s plug-in hybrid powertrain. You’ll need about $ 200,000 to find out this monster for yourself, though.

The power comes from a 4.0-liter biturbo V8 coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Add the fact the Urus will be available only with AWD, with three off-road modes, and that’s enough to send this fabulous piece of machinery to 62mph from rest in just 3.6 seconds, on to a ludicrous 190mph flat out. Underpinning the same MLV Evo platform with the Audi Q7 and Bentley Bentayga, it gets also an active anti-roll suspension, the biggest carbon ceramic brakes ever and a six-mode traction control system.
There are some nice styling solutions that definitely draw the eye, including the hexagonal design cues, tons of grilles and vents, and a roomy cabin inside. Well, this sheet metal to appreciate an iconic Lambo style was definitely a slam dunk.
